Effective September 26, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AE Arcade, including its multiplayer games, Learning Zone, virtual coins, premium items, and related services. By using AE Arcade, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Eligibility and family supervision
You may use AE Arcade only if you can legally agree to these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you. Children should use the Learning Zone and all Creation Lab activities with appropriate adult supervision. Follow every safety note and never taste experiment materials.
Some arcade games carry age recommendations. A child's age, set by a parent in the Parent Dashboard, determines which games are unlocked for that child; games above the child's age band stay locked. A parent may unlock a locked game early with their parent PIN, and a game unlocks automatically when the child ages into its band.
In the child’s first week of the Learning Zone, Teacher Grace gives a short level-check assessment in each school subject to find the child’s true working grade per subject, independently — Kindergarten through Grade 12, thirty-six weeks each. A child may place ahead in one subject and at age level in another. Schoolwork, worksheets, study materials, assessments, the gradebook, and progress records then follow each subject’s placed grade rather than the child’s age alone. Assessment scores, placed grades, and attempt history are saved as part of the child’s learning progress and shown to parents in the Parent Dashboard, where a parent may adjust or reset any subject’s grade with their parent PIN.
Parents may add more than one child on the same browser. Each child keeps their own profile, age, star balance, sign-in code, and learning progress, and a parent can switch which child is currently learning — the Learning Zone and the arcade follow the switch. Child profiles are stored in the browser (and synced to our server when available). Removing a child removes their profile and star balance from the browser; their saved schoolwork stays in the Student Work Portfolio.
The Learning Zone includes a visual Curriculum Map (subject-by-subject progress), a Custom Worksheet Builder (parent-made practice sheets built from lesson topics), and Grace-led Learning Trails (ordered stop-by-stop learning adventures). Each child's map progress, custom worksheets and their graded results, trail progress, and activity progress (Fluency Sprint bests, Typing Studio results, Fruits-of-the-Spirit track, seasonal packs, saved stories, five-step lesson completions, week-at-home packets, Creation Lab reports, Bible Race results and sequel progress, beat-your-best game scores, worksheet self-check practice, parent assignments and their milestones, named collections, and gradebook reports) are saved as part of that child's learning progress — stored in the browser and synced to our server when available — and shown to parents in the Parent Dashboard. A parent may delete a custom worksheet from the Parent Dashboard; completed schoolwork from it stays in the Student Work Portfolio.
2. Access: browser profiles and family accounts
AE Arcade uses browser-linked profiles, and families may also create an optional family account so students and parents can sign in on any device. A family account has two separate logins: a parent login (the main login, created with an email address and password after the subscription starts — you are invited to create it on the welcome page right after checkout, with the subscription email pre-filled) and a student login (the parent's email address plus the student's name and a short numeric PIN the parent sets in the Parent Dashboard; the student uses it to open their classroom on any device). The log-out buttons on the arcade and the Learning Zone return you to the welcome page.
For family accounts we store the parent's email address and display name, each student's name, and password/PIN hashes — never plain-text passwords or PINs. Passwords and PINs are verified using a one-way cryptographic hash (scrypt); the original values cannot be recovered from what we store. Sign-in sessions last up to 90 days on each device and can be ended at any time with the log-out control. Only a signed-in parent can add, rename, change the PIN of, or remove students; a student login can only view and use the Learning Zone and arcade as that student.
Linking a family account to a browser profile carries that profile's coins, premium items, and preferences to any device where the family signs in. The paid subscription is linked to the family account when the parent login is created after checkout (or when an already-signed-in parent completes checkout), so it works on any device the parent or students sign in on — it is checked live and stops working if the subscription is canceled. Browser-linked profiles without a family account still work as before: access, coins, owned items, names, avatars, and preferences may be tied to the browser or device you use. Clearing browser data, changing devices, or using private browsing may prevent access to that profile. You are responsible for activity from your browser and your account, for choosing a password and student PINs others cannot guess, and for keeping your devices secure. Do not share your parent password; student PINs should be known only to the parent and the student.
If a parent forgets their password, the login screen offers a password-reset link sent to the account email; reset links expire after one hour and can be used once. Student names are never shown to anyone who is not signed in — the student login asks the student to type their own name.
Each parent or student sign-in also records a short sign-in history for account security: the time of sign-in, the IP address it came from, and a coarse device label (for example "phone", "tablet", or "computer") — the full device details are never stored. Only the most recent 20 sign-ins per player are kept, older entries are removed automatically, and the history is visible only to the service administrator in the admin panel; it is never shown to other families.
The service administrator's own sign-in can be protected with optional two-factor authentication using an authenticator app (TOTP). When it is enabled, the administrator is also issued a set of single-use recovery codes: each code is shown exactly once at setup, is stored only as a one-way hash (the codes themselves are never stored), and each code stops working the moment it is used.
3. Acceptable use
Use AE Arcade lawfully and respectfully. Do not cheat, exploit bugs, interfere with servers, evade access controls, impersonate others, automate play, or use the service to harass, threaten, deceive, or distribute illegal, harmful, or infringing content. Do not share personal, financial, or confidential information in room chat. Room messages may be filtered for safety and players may be temporarily muted when necessary. Access may be limited or removed when reasonably necessary to protect players or the service.
4. Purchases, coins, and premium items
Paid access, coin packs, and premium items are optional purchases. The price and currency shown at Stripe Checkout control the transaction. Stripe processes payment information under its own terms; AE Arcade does not receive your full card number.
After the first browser-based free spot is claimed, arcade admission is offered as a recurring monthly or yearly subscription. The interval and total shown at Stripe Checkout control. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; contact support@aeinternet.us before the next renewal for billing help or cancellation assistance.
Game coins and virtual items are licensed digital features, not money or property. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred outside AE Arcade, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, completed digital purchases are final. For billing problems or refund requests, contact support promptly and include the purchase date and item—but never send a full card number.
5. Game rules and rewards
Scores, rewards, matchmaking, and game rules may be corrected or adjusted to address errors, cheating, balancing, or service changes. Coins or items obtained through abuse, error, or unauthorized activity may be removed.
Solo and computer-opponent games offer Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulty, which sets computer skill and game speed. Wins and time played are recorded per child and shown to parents in the Parent Dashboard.
6. Content and intellectual property
AE Arcade and its original software, artwork, design, and game content are provided for personal, non-commercial use. These Terms do not transfer ownership. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, distribute, or create a competing service from protected parts of AE Arcade except where applicable law expressly permits it.
7. Availability and changes
AE Arcade may add, change, suspend, or remove games, features, prices, rewards, or content. The service may sometimes be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, network problems, or events outside our control. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Problem reports and support messages
Students can report problems with arcade games using the “Report a problem” button. A report includes the game, the child’s first name (when entered), what went wrong, and any description the child provides. Parents can send messages to Principal Tech from the Parent Dashboard, including an optional reply email address. Reports and messages are used to review and fix problems; the team may reply to parent messages inside the Parent Dashboard and by email when an address was provided and email delivery is available. Reports and messages are stored on the service and are visible only to the service operator; they are never shown to other families or on child-facing pages. Principal Tech also offers support quick actions — a billing question, a curriculum question, or a request for a callback — which open the same message flow with the right subject pre-filled; a requested call is a callback request only, and the parent's phone number and preferred time are supplied by the parent in the message.
The service operator may also configure outbound admin notifications: selected business events (such as a new subscription, a failed or canceled subscription, an urgent inbox message, a billing dispute, or a spike in server errors) can be delivered as machine-readable notifications to webhook URLs the operator supplies himself. These notifications go only to the operator's own HTTPS addresses (at most two), are sent only for the event types he enables, and contain only the details of that event — they are never sent to third parties and never to families.
9. Coach Caleb's camera (optional)
Physical Education sessions with Coach Caleb may offer an optional camera mirror so the child can watch their own form while they exercise. The camera is always off unless the child turns it on for that session, and the device's own permission prompt must be accepted first.
Camera video is a live local preview only: it never leaves the device, is never recorded, uploaded, streamed, or shared with anyone — not with other families, not with the service operator. Turning the camera off, or closing the session, immediately stops the camera. All Coach sessions work fully without the camera.
10. Educational and safety notice
Learning Zone lessons, Bible reflections, and science activities are for general educational and entertainment purposes. They are not professional medical, legal, or safety advice. An adult must decide whether an activity and its materials are appropriate for a child and supervise the activity. Physical exercise should be done in a clear, safe space; stop and rest if a child feels pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent allowed by law, AE Arcade is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, AE Arcade and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, access, coins, or virtual items arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to AE Arcade during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Ending access
You may stop using AE Arcade at any time. Access may be suspended or ended for a material violation of these Terms, fraud, abuse, legal requirements, or risks to players or the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
14. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as the service changes. The effective date at the top will be revised when that happens. Continuing to use AE Arcade after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Applicable law and disputes
Applicable law governs these Terms without overriding consumer protections that cannot be waived. Before filing a formal claim, please contact support so there is an opportunity to resolve the issue directly.
16. Cloud storage for learning data
Each child has a per-child cloud storage plan covering their learning data saved to our server — schoolwork, the Student Work Portfolio, drawings, maps, notebooks, and progress records. The admin panel shows how much storage each child is using, and the Parent Dashboard shows the same usage to the parent.
Daily My School Day completion records — the day's completion percentage, unfinished subjects, and carried-over work — are also saved to the server so a child's school-day progress follows them across devices; the admin panel may show a per-family summary of recent school-day completion for support purposes. No child names are ever exported from these records.
When a child reaches 80% of their storage limit, the Parent Dashboard warns the parent and offers a get-more-storage option. A parent may also delete individual saved files from the Parent Dashboard, behind the parent PIN, to free space.
If a child's storage plan becomes full, saving to the server stops cleanly: the service shows a clear message that the storage plan is full instead of failing silently, and no more data is stored to the server until the plan is updated. Saving offline on the device keeps working, and already-saved work is never deleted automatically.
17. Weekly digests and fitness summaries
The Parent Dashboard shows a weekly parent digest for each child — what the child completed that week, their current struggle areas, and what is next — drawn from the saved schoolwork, grades, and struggle flags already described above. It shows only that family's own children and is never shared with anyone else. When email delivery is configured, the digest can also be sent to the parent's email address; past digests stay archived in the Parent Dashboard.
The Parent Dashboard also shows a weekly fitness summary from Coach Caleb's workout data — workouts completed this week (daily gym and themed workout packs), the current workout streak, and weekly challenge progress. Day-to-day workout records (streaks, completions, and challenge progress) are stored on the family browser only and are shared across children on that device. Coach Caleb's quarterly workout benchmarks (workout type, move counts, and minutes per day) and any owie notes are saved to the family's server alongside the child's other learning data (see section 16); they are visible only to that family and are never shared with anyone else.
Themed workout packs (Bible Heroes, Animal Movers, Sports Skills) with Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced difficulty levels are child-facing fitness content: bodyweight exercises only, no grading, and no camera requirement.
18. Family announcements, fitness challenges, check-ins, and inbox deletion
The admin panel can post family announcements — short notices stored on the server with a timestamp, newest first. Parents see announcements in the Parent Dashboard on their next visit; they are never sent by email or push. Announcements can be deleted from the admin panel.
Coach Caleb offers an opt-in weekly family fitness challenge with a family leaderboard covering children and parents. Workout records stay on the family browser only (see section 17) and are never uploaded or shared with anyone else; the week's challenge is announced in Coach's own voice. An optional household-vs-household team challenge lets families opt in to compare team scores across households; only the parent-chosen team display name and the team score are shared — no child names, ages, photos, or workout details — and it stays off unless a parent opts in.
Parents can book a parent-teacher conference through Principal Tech by choosing one of the posted time slots. A booking stores the parent's name and email, the child's name, and the chosen topic on the server so the conference can be held; bookings are visible only to the service operator and are never shared with anyone else.
The admin panel also keeps private player notes and a per-player coin ledger for account administration. These are visible only in the admin panel and are never shown to families.
Principal Tech may show in-dashboard check-ins in the Parent Dashboard — a gentle note after three quiet days, or when a child has three or more struggle flags. Check-ins are dismissible, shown at most once per child per day per kind, and never sent as push notifications.
The admin panel can permanently delete resolved inbox items — parent messages (including their threaded reply conversations) and student game reports. Only resolved items may be deleted; every attempt is written to the service's audit log, and the audit log itself is never deleted.
For administration the service keeps a few additional operational records. The site owner may configure the server to POST event notifications (new subscriptions, urgent parent messages, billing disputes, error spikes) as JSON to up to two URL(s) they supply — these go only to the owner's own endpoints and never to families or third parties. Admin sign-ins record the client IP address so a first sign-in from a never-before-seen IP can be flagged in the admin panel; when the admin enables two-factor sign-in, they may also generate single-use backup codes — only irreversible hashes of these codes are stored on the server, each code is shown once at generation, and each works a single time.
